Sign the pledge to Vote YES on Measures 66 & 67
Today, fueled by over $1-million in funding, signature gatherers hired by large corporations turned in sheets forcing a likely referendum on two Tax Fairness proposals in January, 2010. AFT-Oregon will be leading the charge to encourage members to Vote “YES” on Tax Fairness to maintain vital education healthcare programs our communities depend on.
In this “YES” campaign, we will be sharing the facts that over 97% of Oregon taxpayers will not see any increase in their taxes. And that it’s time that we raise the $10 corporate minimum tax for the first time since 1931 to support holding the line on class sizes, protecting good jobs, providing health care coverage to children and helping seniors stay in their homes. In order to tell the truth about Tax Fairness, we need your help:
