Part I in Health Care Series: Voters are witnessing a rarity in the 2008 – a Presidential election with health care availability and coverage high on the list of public issues. All leading candidates have a plan for fixing the problem and broadening coverage to all citizens. Even candidates left behind in earlier primaries had at least voiced a view, and several had articulated an actual game plan to bring coverage to all.
